Your personality determines your colour (font)? My conference speech is live

Which personality tests have you taken? Myers-Briggs, DISC and Belbin perhaps, but have you heard of the Self-Construal Scale by Dr Ted Singelis which gauges whether you see yourself as independent or interdependent? The outcome can determine the colours you choose, and formed part of my Honours research presented at Brisbane’s Association Typographique Internationale Conference. My findings steered the creation of my colour font and opened a conversation with international type designers about ignoring our own Self-Construal to, instead, design for the majority.

Find out if your Self-Construal is independent or interdependent by watching the video and taking the test for yourself.
