Day of Meh
CONCEPT
Monday, the Day of Meh, a perfect catchphrase for coffee lovers everywhere! Having recently completed a Juicy Script lettering course and keen to apply it to a new project, I pencil sketched Day of Meh onto Rhodia dot paper then thickened the flourishes and nested the letters together.
TEXTURE AND DEPTH
Once the outlines were vectored in Illustrator, I applied a gradient, offset path and shadow line to the letters to create depth, texture and interest.
